The Howz Assessment Report – AI powered insight for social care

We are delighted to announce the launch of the Howz Assessment Report, the latest innovation in technology enabled proactive and preventative care.

Automatically generated at the end of a Howz assessment pathway, the report turns in depth pattern of life data into clear, plain English summaries. It provides a fast and reliable baseline that professionals can enhance with their own judgement to make informed care recommendations.

Designed for short term care assessments lasting two to eight weeks, the report supports:
Reablement
Initial assessments
Reassessments
Complex care reviews

It is created at the click of a button with customised sections for each focus area, giving teams a consistent and trusted way to understand data.

Built with deep academic rigour, the Howz platform uses machine learning models developed with input from Lancaster University, published in the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society and tested with NHS partners. The Assessment Report builds on this foundation, applying AI to convert verified insights into easy to read summaries for care teams.

The report is designed to support those who need the most timely help, including people waiting for assessment, individuals leaving hospital, and those living with dementia, frailty or learning disabilities.
