HAPPI Hour Webinar - Using data and AI to transform future housing and care at home

Howz were delighted to take part in a Housing LIN HAPPI Hour webinar focused on how data and artificial intelligence can support the next generation of housing and care. The session was delivered in partnership with Everon and brought together sector experts to examine the opportunities created by the 2027 digital switchover and the growing role of AI in housing and care.

As part of the programme, Howz Managing Director Kate Fairhurst presented the research and development work behind Evercare, the joint Everon and Howz service that brings fall detection, alarm response and proactive analytics together in a single device. The session explored how minute-by-minute activity data can reveal changes in routine, mobility and sleep, and how these insights can support preventative, person-centred housing and care.

The webinar also highlighted the launch of the new Evercare white paper and shared how AI and behavioural analytics can strengthen digital care for vulnerable residents by identifying emerging risks earlier and helping teams act in a timely and proportionate way.

Housing LIN continues to champion the role of digital innovation in the housing sector, and we were pleased to contribute to this important discussion.
